Cost and Taste
Reasonable price among other bakeries. Freshly baked cakes, try lemon meringue cake which is a good pair with my latte and vanilla puff. The lemon curd is at the right sour which balances the whole cake.
Salted caramel, Monkey Monster, burnt cheesecake, and the cream puff. Super thin craquelin choux with cream which is not sickeningly sweet. Their Monkey Monster was well-balanced, sweet banana-packed sponge topped with bittersweet chocolate pudding. The coffee was pretty acidic.
Shop decoration looks like Vintage but clean.
The fave cake has to be Persian princess. Salted caramel, big boss, and apple gate are good as well. Best Bakery to visit for severaltimes and bringing friends and family there. Order your wedding cake from Cake Jalan Tiung.
Their Menara Naza TTDI is very convenient for taking away from doorstep car park.
Cakes were so moist and fresh here and its to die for. Coffee, I didn’t try the espresso base, but Chemex was good. Well done by the Barista, PPP (papapahelta) did a great job for the training I guess. My eyes on the machine, wish I can pull my own shot anyway, it was awesome! Only the air-conditioner was not too cold, quite warm there when the place gets crowded. Keep it up CJL (Cake Jalan Tiung)!!
Lovely staff, They’re all polite and friendly. The banana cake was the best cake from the lot we ordered but it was a really small slice. But the cookies are yummy.
Love the perfect balance of coconut, passion fruit, and mango in the Coco Chanel! Not too much cream and not too sweet, just the way I like it.
Definitely curious to try your local flavor-inspired cakes.
